Thermally broken thin-frame systems.
Aluminum windows and doors are the workhorse of modern commercial construction — strong, dimensionally stable, and engineered for the thin sightlines architects want without sacrificing performance. Aluminum Ave supplies thermally broken storefront framing, entrance doors, sliding door systems, and architectural-grade window walls to contractors and builders nationwide.
Commercial storefront framing is our most-specified system. Available in 1-3/4" and 2" face widths, stick-built or pre-glazed, our storefront framing is engineered for ground-floor applications up to 10 ft tall with single-source glass and finish coordination. Heavy-duty 2-1/2" systems support taller openings and higher wind loads.
Thermal break technology has transformed aluminum window performance. Our polyamide-strut thermal break frames achieve U-values down to 0.30 — meeting or exceeding energy code in every U.S. climate zone. Combined with high-performance Low-E IGU glass, these systems perform alongside fiberglass and composite alternatives without sacrificing aluminum's slim profiles.
Sliding door systems are increasingly specified for hospitality, multifamily, and high-end residential projects. Our multi-track sliding and lift-and-slide systems support oversized panels — up to 12 ft tall and 6 ft wide per leaf — with concealed rollers and stainless tracks rated for daily commercial use.
For coastal and high-velocity hurricane zones, we offer Florida Product Approval and Miami-Dade NOA compliant impact systems. Laminated Glass interlayers and reinforced framing meet missile-impact and cyclic pressure testing per ASTM E1886 and TAS 201/202/203.
Every window and door order ships with NFRC labels, structural calculations, and installation drawings tailored to the rough opening, anchorage condition, and finished detail. We coordinate with the glazing contractor to sequence material releases by floor or elevation.
Finishes include Class I anodized in clear and bronze series, AAMA 2605 PVDF, AAMA 2604 powder coat, and custom color matching. Hardware finishes are coordinated to the framing finish for a unified architectural look.
