ACM panels & rainscreen facades.
Aluminum cladding has become the default exterior envelope for modern U.S. commercial construction. It is lightweight, fire-rated, dimensionally stable across temperature swings, and available in finishes that hold their color for decades. Aluminum Ave supplies the full range of cladding systems — rainscreen, ACM (aluminum composite material), solid plate, perforated screens, and hidden-fastener facades — engineered, fabricated, and shipped to job sites nationwide.
A rainscreen system is a pressure-equalized facade where the outer aluminum skin sheds bulk water while a drained, ventilated cavity behind it manages any incidental moisture. This approach has become the standard on mid-rise and high-rise buildings because it dramatically improves moisture management, thermal performance, and panel longevity. Our rainscreen systems use concealed clip attachment, allowing replacement of individual panels without disturbing adjacent units — a major advantage for owners and facility teams.
ACM panels combine two thin aluminum face sheets bonded to a fire-retardant mineral core. They deliver an exceptionally flat finished surface at a fraction of the weight of solid plate, making them ideal for column covers, soffits, signage, and large-format facade fields. We supply NFPA 285-tested ACM in standard 4 mm and 6 mm thicknesses with PVDF Kynar 500 coatings warranted for 20+ years against chalk and fade.
Solid plate aluminum cladding is specified when the architect wants the precision and rigidity of a thicker face — typically 0.125" to 0.250" — for landmark facades, monumental column covers, or panels with extreme cantilevers. Solid plate is also the right choice for projects with heightened fire-rating requirements where ACM cannot be used.
Perforated aluminum cladding has exploded in popularity for parking garages, mechanical screens, transit stations, and feature walls. We can perforate to your custom pattern, image, or gradient — including round, square, slot, and image-based perforation maps. Open area, hole spacing, and panel rigidity are engineered to your shading and visibility goals.
Every cladding order from Aluminum Ave includes shop drawings, structural calculations, and a panel schedule formatted to your project. We coordinate directly with the GC, glazier, or facade subcontractor to align panel sequencing with the building enclosure schedule. Panels ship palletized and labeled by elevation and grid — no on-site sorting required.
Finishes include AAMA 2605 PVDF, anodized in clear and bronze series, and decorative woodgrain. All finishes are color-matched across panel batches, fascia, trims, and reveals so the assembled facade reads as one continuous skin.
